- Hebrew: צמתך - "veil"
- Some commentators have suggested that "veil" is a prudish translation of צמתך, speculating that a more accurate translation might be "pubic area." It is noteworthy that in modern Hebrew, צמתך, translates as "intersection."
Behold, you are beautiful, my love.
Behold, you are beautiful.
Your eyes are like doves behind your veil.
Your hair is as a flock of goats,
that descend from Mount Gilead.
